Hi Everyone! A little over two months ago, Pebbles in My Pocket contacted me, and asked me if I would be interested in selling my prints in their Orem store. I was floored...and so excited...and I said yes, yes, yes!!! So, you can now find my prints in their Orem store - 1132 S State.
I'm so happy that they contacted me, not only because it gives me the chance to grow my business, but because their store rocks. I remember walking into their store about seven years ago, right after Matthew was born, because now that I was a mom, I wanted to start scrapbooking. It was a great little store, but then we moved to Davis County and I never set foot in it again...until last month. And let me tell you, the store has completely changed, and I'm in love!
In the last seven years, they've expanded, and completely changed things up.
In addition to their awesome selection of paper and scrapbook goods, they have a large area that you can come, sit, and scrap. They also have a boutique section where they sell goods from local artisans (that's where Lemon Dropp can be found). But that's not all. They also sell the cutest party goods - vintage style paper straws, pretty cupcake liners, bright and unique balloons...just to name a few. Don't even get me started on their selection of ribbons and trims. Giant ric-rac in a rainbow of colors? Check. Vintage style pompom trims? Oh yes. Lovely ribbons and lace? YES!! They sell trims that I've only ever seen online, right in their store! They also offer a variety of craft kits - paper roses, fabric flower embellishments and headbands, cookie tubes, gift boxes....cute, cute, cute. It makes me wish I lived closer to Orem!
So, if you live nearby, you should really check them out, you won't be disappointed. And, if you don't live in Utah County, they have an online store. They also have a blog with tons of fun, fresh ideas. You should really check them out HERE and HERE.
But that's not the only exciting news I have to share...Husband has a job! He graduated from BYU with an MBA last April, and we've been searching for a job ever since. After more interviews than I can count, several fly-backs, a lot of no's and more ups and downs than the rides at Magic Mountain, we are employed at a great company...on a trial basis...but it's paid and it's a step in the right direction. Yay!!
